A resident of Los Angeles for most of his life, Mr. Gross received his A.A. degree from Los Angeles Valley College in 1972. He then continued his education in Dental Technology at California College of Dental Training focusing on all areas of dental technology until he received his degree in 1974. Immediately thereafter Mr. Gross began his long career at Space Maintainers Laboratory where he has actively participated in every aspect of laboratory services ranging from the design, fabrication, diagnosis and management of pediatric, orthodontic, orthopedic TMD, and sleep appliances.
Mr. Gross was recognized as a Board Certified Dental Technician in Pediatrics/Orthodontics by the National Board of Certification in 1980 and has completed numerous certification programs in Orthodontics, Orthopedics, Cephalometrics, Dental Sleep Medicine, Dental Sports Medicine, TMD Therapy, and Pediatric Appliance Therapy. These courses have been taught by some of the most respected names in the industry including John Witzig, Terry Spahl, Brock Rondeau, J. Wellington Truitt, William Clark, Jay Gerber, Merle Bean, Hans Peter Bimler, Ray Padilla, Rob Veis, Ted Croll, Jacob Lee, and Walt Pfitzinger. At present Steve is President of SML -Space Maintainers Laboratory – Products and Services.
